| Object Chronic prostatitis(CP),a commonly incountreed diseaseof male adult, is a clinical syndromes with the main effect of dysuricsmptom and bladder genital area pain. The number of the patients whohave the above syndrom is about 33%of all patients in andrology clinicalservice, and 90%-95%is chronic pelvic pain syndrom(CPPS). Thepathogenesy of CPPS is not clear, and is considered to be related tofactors of infestation of pathogenic microorganism, urine backstreaming,autoimmune response, disorder function of pelvic cavityautonomic nerve,and psychologic factor. The influence of CCPP to the quality of life isseveritily, and the treatment effectiveness is not satisfied. The article is toobserve the treatment effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine(LianDan decoction) on Chronic prostatitis, and to evaluate the therapeuticeffects of LianDan decoction by using the NIH—CPSI scoring.Methods All of the 90 chronic prostatitis patients (downwardmigration of damp-heat) were randomly divided into two groups, the45 cases in treatment group were treated by LianDan decoction, the other45 cases in control group were treated only by western medicine. TheNIH-CPSI scores, the scores of traditional Chinese medicine sydrom,EPS examination and hemorheology were observed before and after 2 and 4 weeks. and the therapeutic effects was contrasted and analyzed。Results The total effective rate of the two groups is 84.4%and71.1%, all the parameters of the EPS examination,the scores oftraditional Chinese medicine sydrom and hemorheology have beensignificantly improved, but those in treatment group were superior to thecontrol group, The NIH-CPSI scores have been significantly decreased,but those in treatment group were lower to the control group, Therewere significant differences between the two groups (p<0.05).Conclusion The therapy of traditional Chinese medicine (LianDandecoction) was the effective treatment of chronic prostatitis. |
