| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of five-step manipulation combined with zhenggu powder on the treatment of acute lateral collateral ligament injury of ankleMethods:200 patients with acute ankle joint lateral collateral ligament injury in our hospital from May 2013 to May 2014 were randomized into treatment group and control group, with 100 in each.Five-step manipulation and zhenggu powder was given to the treatment group, zhenggu powder was given to the control group. The effect was evaluated by the swelling relieved and Kofoed score.Results:The effective rate of treatment group was 97%(97/100), the control group was 89% (89/100), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) after 2 weeks. The total effective rate of treatment group was 100%(100/100),the control group was 96% (96/100) after 4 weeks, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The perimeter of ankle were decreased in both on treatment group and control group after 2 weeks and 4 weeks. Compared with the control group,there was significant different in the swelling relieved of the treatment group(p<0.05).There was significant improvement of Kofoed score in both of groups. Compared with the control group, there was significant different on the improvement of Kofoed score Of the treatment group (p<0.05).Conclusion:Five-step manipulation combined with zhenggu powder can promote tissue damage repairing and pain relief. It can reach more effective curative effect. It was worthy of clinical application. |
