Purpose: To compare the differences in the clinical efficacy on the treatment of cervicogenic tinnitus between the shallow needling of cervical jiaji points with body points and the conventional acupuncture,by setting the random control clinical comparative observation experiment. To facilitate the optimization and promotion of the clinical treatment of cervicogenic tinnitus with acupuncture. And discuss the efficacy and safety of the shallow needling of cervical jiaji points to treat cervicogenic tinnitus.Method: Selecting 60 patients who come to the outpatient department of acupuncture and moxibustion of the Affiliated Hospital To C hang Chun University O f C hinese Medicine from 2014 January to 2014 December. The single blind method and the randomized controlled trial were adopted. The 60 cases of cervicogenic tinnitus were randomized into a shallow needling of cervical jiaji points group and a conventional acupuncture group.30 cases in each one. After 3 courses of treatment, observe the changes of the tinnitus scores.Compare the the clinical efficacy of the treatment of cervicogenic tinnitus between the shallow needling of cervical jiaji points and the conventional acupuncture.Reslut:1.Assess and compare the tinnitus scores of the two groups before and after treatment.According to the contrast, both of the tinnitus severity levels are decreased, but the shallow needling of cervical jiaji points with body points group is superior to the conventional acupuncture group.2.Comparison of clinical effective rate between two groups:the treatmen group 93.3%, the control group 83.33%,with significant difference between the two groups in statistical comparison(P<0.05).Indicating the treatment group is significantly better than the control group in improving the clinical symptoms of cervicogenic tinnitus. Conclusion: This study shows that the shallow needling cervical Jiaji points with body points group is more efficient than the conventional acupuncture group for the treatment of cervicogenic tinnitus, also can improve the cervicogenic tinnitus patients ’ tinnitus symptoms and concomitant symptoms better. Shallow needling of cervical Jiaji points with body points group in the treatment of cervicogenic tinnitus, mainly by acupuncture atcervical Jiaji points to improve the cervical vertebral occipital muscles tension, relieve cervical degenerative change of blood vessels and mechanical compression of cervical nerve root stimulation, reduce the excitability of sympathetic nerve, increase the vertebral artery diameter and blood flow velocity, thus improving the vestibular area and inner ear ischemia. Cervical jiaji points shallow needling combined with traditional differentiation acupoints in the treatment of cervicogenic tinnitus has better clinical efficacy in improving tinnitus and its concomitant symptoms, worthy of promotion.
