The Clinical Obserration Of Mild Cognitive Impairment By Head Acupuncture With Needle Warming Moxibustion Of Back Shu Point

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of head acupuncture with needle warming moxibustion of back shu point for treatment of mind cognitive impairment and activity of daily living.Methods:60 cases of patients with MCI were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in treatment group and control group with 30 cases. The treatment group which take the method of head acupuncture with needle warming moxibustion of back shu point,the control group take the method of traditional acupuncture. The two groups of patients treat one times a day,six times a week,thirty days totally. Before and after treatment in the two groups were investigated by MMSE, MoCA,BI scoring to evaluate the cognitive function and activity of daily living.Results:1.Two groups of patients after treatment with MMSE and MoCA scores were increased, compared with that before treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05);After the treatment,the differences between two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05), the efficacy on treatment group was better than that of the control group.2. Two groups of patients after treatment with Barthel index score were increased, compared with that before treatment was statistically significant (P<0.05); After the treatment,the differences between two groups was statistically not obvious (P>0.05), the efficacy of the two groups were equivalent.3. Treatment of mild cognitive impairment total efficiency is 83.33%, control group in the total efficiency was 56.67%, there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05).
