Objective: Observation of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with western medicine in treating wind cold dampness rheumatoid arthritis, clinical curative effect and simple oral western medicine there is no difference.Methods: a total of 60 patients with rheumatoid arthritis, were randomly divided into experimental group(acupuncture combined with western medicine group) 30 cases and control group(Western medicine group) 30 cases. The control group oral celecoxib capsule in the treatment group on the basis of oral drugmoxibustion Zusanli, taixi, Waiguan, too streams; and joint lesions in acupointacupuncture, moxibustion 2 cones per hole, period of treatment is 20 minutes, January to 1 course of treatment. Change in the two groups score, TCM symptoms, CRP, VAS in ESRand RF were observed before and after treatment.Results: Results: 30 cases in the treatment group, the clinical cure in 13 cases, 9 cases were cured, effective 7 cases,invalid 1 cases, the total efficiency of 96.7%; control group of 30 patients, clinical cure in 8 cases, 5 cases were cured, effective 9 cases, invalid 8 cases, the total efficiency is 73.3%. Curative effects of 2 groups were compared,by rank test, P<0.05, shows the efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group. TCM symptom score the 2 groups have a statistically significant difference comparing thedifferences before and after treatment in 2 groups(P<0.05), the treatment group was better than that of the control group. The scores of VAS and CRP levels in the 2 groupsafter treatment than before treatment in this group were lower(P<0.05), a statistically significant difference comparing the differences before and after treatment in 2 groups(P<0.05). ESR and RF results of the 2 groups after treatment than before treatment in this group were lower(P<0.05), no statistically significant difference between the 2 groups before and after treatment difference(P>0.05). Conclusion: the therapeutic efficacy of combination of Western medicine in the treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion significant wind cold dampness rheumatoidarthritis.
