ObjectiveThrough using the method of stochastic control, evaluation of occipital clinical therapeutic effect of triple needling on tension type headache, and to provide clinical basis for the effective treatment of tension type headache.Methods1. Through randomized controlled way of study, divided the 60 patients with Superior Clunial Nerve Entrapment Syndrome who met the standards of the disease diagnosis into two groups averagelv:the Occipital Tripleneedling group as research group and the normal acupuncture group as control group.2. Acupuncture points:the treatment group was treated with occipital Ashi points, the control group take Taiyang, Touwei, Baihui, Fengchi, Cervical Jiaji points, Shenmen, Zusanli, Taichong, uses the conventional acupuncture treatment. This clinical trial include four weeks, each of which includes five consecutive treatment days, and two resting days.3. After the treatment, observe the treatment effects of changes between the two groups of patients from the Mcgill scores and Headache scores headache duration and clinical efficacy.Results1. Before and after treatment two groups of headache integral and the McGill score, were significantly improved (P<0.05) and in pri positive words, PRI sensation, VAS, headache frequency, headache degree, headache duration, triple needling group was significantly better than the control group, the difference has statistical significance (P<0.05); and in pri emotions and headache accompanied by improvement of symptoms, the difference between the two groups no significant (P>0.05).2. After treatment, in the clinical effect, the Qi acupuncture group had 13 cases cured,10 cases effective,5 cases improved,2 cases invalid, the control group had 7 cases cured,9 cases effective,9 cases improved, 5 cases invalid. The difference of efficacy between the acupuncture group and the acupuncture group was statistically significant (P<0.05). ConclusionThe treatment of tension type headache with the acupuncture and routine acupuncture has obvious effect, and the clinical effect of the treatment of tension type headache patients is better than that of routine acupuncture.
