Object:Using data mining technology, to collect, collate, and minementors Professor Hu Zhiqiang ’s cases treatment of tension-type headachemedication systems，for studying mentors’ basic prescriptions and drugCompatibility Law in the treatment of tension-type headache.Methods:It is necessary to Screen mentors Professor Hu’s effectiveclinical cases of out-patient treatment of tension-type headache,and documenttheir prescription medication.With the help of PASW statistical software toestablish database,then using frequency analysis and hierarchical clusteranalysis of data mining techniques to analyze the drugs, to conclude thehigh-frequency drugs,drug classes,commonly used couple drugs,as well as theclose relationship between cluster consisting of drugs, on this basis,todiscuss mentors’ experiences of fundamental prescriptions and drugCompatibility Law in the treatment of tension-type headache.Results: The analysis shows that the total frequency of drugs is2029times,which frequency is used more than35times has15kinds, and frequency of morethan8times (including8times) Drugs has60kinds.The total frequency is1869kinds,whose cumulative frequency is92.11%; Drugs on the top of fifthFrequency are diaphoretics,drug for invigorating blood circulation andeliminating stasisk, antipyretic agent, drugs for calming the liver to stopthe wind and tonification drugs. Their total frequency is1459kinds and cumulative frequency is71.9%, who are the commonly used drugs and drug classesfor this disease.The cluster analysis shows that there are six clusteringprescriptions, which consisting of the close relationship drugs and fourteengroups of commonly used couple drugs.Conclusion:Through exploring the cluster consisting of drugs, drugclasses,and couple drugs, it can conclude that calming the liver to stop thewind, tonitying the heart and spleen, drying the wetness evil and eliminatingphlegm, relieving limb spasm pain, regulating the qi and blood, expelling windto relieve superficies and pain is the main method of mentors ’ treatment oftension-type headache.Using diaphoretics and drugs for calming the liver tostop the wind is taken their "dispelling wind" effect; Drugs for invigoratingblood circulation and eliminating stasisk, antipyretic agent, drugs fordissipating phlegm and relieving cough and asthma, diuretics for eliminatingdampness are used for “the upper orifices”; Tonification drugs andtranquilizers are used for “tonify”.For couple drugs, mentors mainly usesdrugs which have nature and flavour close to each other or functionalsimilarity to enhance effectiveness,as well as uses drugs which have oppositenature and flavour or dissimilar function to each complements the other.
