Doctor charges with the task of promoting people’s health. As a Chinese Medicine student, which ability quality to be competent TCM doctors’ work? At the same time, which problem does exit in the cultivation of students’ ability? Based on this, this research is divided into three parts.First of all, define the meaning and requirement of the quality of TCM Students. It is the combination of the moral, knowledge and clinical practice ability of the undergraduate students in TCM should be possessed of the work of TCM doctors.At the same time, every level will build up the capability element, altogether 28.Secondly, on the basis of defining the meaning and requirement of TCM Students’ quality, the questionnaire is designed to investigate the cognitive status of the students and doctors of TCM to the importance of quality factors. Through t test, the comparison of the two cognitive differences are analyzed and compared. Then using factor analysis to explore the relationship between each capability element,28 ability elements can be further with 8 dimensions to summarize, career motivation and beliefs, professional attitude and personal qualities, the core theory of Chinese medicine, computer-aided knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine basic knowledge, core practical ability, interpersonal relationship ability and information literacy.Lastly, through the empirical analysis, the students of TCM don’t realize clearly the professional morality, the humanistic quality, the clinical ability, the interpersonal relationship ability and the information literacy especially. It reflects the problems of the school in these qualities. The reason is that medical ethics education ideas and methods, humanities curriculum unreasonable, clinical practice arrangement unscientific, content is not comprehensive.
