ObjectiveTo analyze the clinical characteristics of the mixed hemorrhoids hospitalized population and the evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine application in peri operation period in the past 5 years by the method of the retrospective study, put forward views and opinions on the optimization of the existing mixed hemorrhoid treatment program and process management.MethodsRetrospective analysis of the mixed hemorrhoid cases that were hospitalizedin Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital during 2009 to 2013, population characteristics for the collection of all cases (general population characteristics and disease characteristics), TCM syndrome type distribution and characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine therapy, operation period (days before surgery, operation time, postoperative days operation mode, operation fee, postoperative complications, the common factors affecting length of stay), statistics and analysis, using SPSS17.0 software to establish a database for statistical analysis.ResultsIn this study, patients were observed in 2900 cases, the male to female ratio was 1.15:1, the average age of 47.3314.05 years old. In the age structure of the population, hemorrhoids, secondary anaemia in patients with postoperative complications of patients were younger age trend. The average hospital stay was 8.533.45 days, average number of days to 1.731.294 days before surgery,84.4% were able to accept operation treatment in three days before admission. The average cost of hospitalization for 7533.962824.24 yuan. Patients with damp heat syndrome more common, the application of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment rate was 94.4%, heating method, the method of application of external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and is the most commonly used. Wu Zhuyu hot pressing abdomen for intervention of dysuria after operation for patients, oral Harnal capsule for urination disorders after surgery for early intervention. Oral cathartic+cleaning enema is the most commonly used method of intestinal tract preparation. Stapling technique is more prone to complications than external dissection and internal ligation. In 2900 patients the incidence of urinary retention was 39.1%, the rate of catheterization was 14.1%, postoperative secondary bleeding were found in 26 cases. The main factors influencing abnormal urination postoperative length of stay.ConclusionClinical characteristics of mixed hemorrhoids patient population for the trend of younger age, with different degrees of anemia and acute incarcerated mixed hemorrhoid patients gradually increased. Secondary postoperative voiding dysfunction patients also showed a trend of younger age, the causes of urination disorders may be more young patients with pain and psychological state. According to the existing features and observation data of mixed hemorrhoid patients reflects the nearly 5 years of mixed hemorrhoid treatment program and process management problems in the optimization and improvement of the views and opinions, in order to shorten the hospital ization days, the mixed hemorrhoid is more worthy of promotion of hospitalization diagnosis and treatment process management plan.
