Research For The Treatment Of Migraine By Acupuncture Mainly On Cervical Paravertebral Point

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of patients with migraine symptoms treated mainl y by acupuncture cervical paravertebral point. Methods:60 cases were randomly divided into two groups(treatment group and control grou p, each with 30 cases). The treatment group with acupuncture on cervical paravertebral point, three times a week. The control group with acupuncture on traditional acupoints, three times a week. Compare the clinical efficacy of two groups after 8 weeks. Results:(1) VAS and migraine within two way comprehensive integral evaluation scores of ea ch groups has decreased(P<0.05) after treatment.This difference was statistically significant.(2) VAS and migraine within two way comprehensive integral evaluation scores between the t wo groups has decreased(P>0.05) after treatment.This difference was not statistically signific ant.(3)The total effective rate of treatment group is 96.67%. The total effective rate of control group is 93.33%. This difference was not statistically significant.(P>0.05). Conclusions:(1) Two methods showed good therapeutic effect on migraine.(2) acupuncture cer vical paravertebral point treatment of migraine can yet be regarded as a simple, safe and effect ive method.
