Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of deep needling Jingjiaji points 1.2 cun, Jian Zhongshu, Jian Waishu 1.4 cun compared with the conventional acupuncture 0.5 cun for cervical vertigo by using Randomized controlled trial, and provide a better therapy and its safety analysis. Methods:Using the random number table method, starting number according to random number table, either in turn read 60 random number, even number can be divided into the treatment group and uneven number is divided into control group, with 30 cases in each group. Bilateral cervical paravertebral point are slightly inclined inward toward the midline with one hand in treatment group, the needle depth is about 1.2 cun, Jianzhongshu and Jianwaishu are needled about 1.4 cun. The positive pole connect C5 and negative pole connect C7 after acupuncture, choose continuous wave, frequency of 1 hz, strength for the patient feel comfortable, then using TDP lamp for local irradiation, retaining needle for 30 minutes. Except acupuncture depth is 0.5 cun in control group which is different from treatment group, the rest is exactly the same as the treatment group. It was given once a day, and 5 times constituted one course with 2 courses altogether, and then the the VAS, DHI score was recorded before and after the treatment and adverse reactions were recorded during the treatment. All the results are analyzed using SPSS16.0. Take the ITT analysis as a result, and when the P value is less than 0.05, the difference between control groups are statistically significant.Results:(1) The baseline data such as age, sex, course of diseases, VAS score and DHI score of two groups before treatment was not statistical significant, which was comparable.(2) After the treatment, total effective rate was 93.33% in treatment group,83.33% in control group. Bilateral approximate value P= 0.017< 0.05 after examination, which is statistical significance. DHI score compared intra-group before and after treatment with P P=0.000< 0.05, the same as VAS score which indicate deep acupuncture and routine acupuncture can reduce patient DHI score and VAS scores, two acupuncture methods were both effective for treating cervical vertigo. At the end of the treatment, DHI score compared between two groups, P= 0.021<0.05, VAS score comparison with P=0.005<0.05, which are different. Two acupuncture methods can both reduce DHI score and VAS score, namely deep acupuncture in the treatment of cervical vertigo is superior to the conventional acupuncture.(3) After 6 months follow-up,5 cases recurrence in treatment group well 10 cases in control group, the recurrence rate re was spectively 16.7% and 33.3% which is not difference between the two groups (P=0.139>0.05).(4) During the study, there was no statistically significant difference compared the number of the abnormal situation of the experimental group with control group.Conclusions:(1) Deep stabbing and conventional needling Jingjiaji points for the treatment of cervical vertigo were both effective. The short-term effect a deep needling Jingjiaji points for the treatment of cervical vertigo was superior to conventional acupuncture group, but the long-term effect is not different between them.(2) As long as paying attention to the needling direction and Angle, deep needling Jingjiaji point is relatively safe and it was found no serious side effects and adverse reactions during treatment.
