ObjectiveObserving the clinical effecton the patients who have AECOPD after the treatment ofbasic western andthe Chuan ke zhi injection(CKZ), then analyse and judgethe application value during the treatment equitably, to provide instructions of application and popularization in using all kinds of Chinese medicine and methods,.MethodsThis study randomly chooses the patients with a strict standard from Emergency Department Comprehensive Ward and Respiratory Department of Guang Dong Province Chinese Medicine Hospital during February 2014to February 2015, observe and compare the result during basic western treatment with CKZ injection group (means the treatment group) and the basic western treatment group (means the matched group)onthe chosen patients, from the beginning and and after the treatment, including their TCM syndrome score, blood gas analysis, routine blood test, emergency biochemistry, the CAT scoresand mMRC changes.Results1. The basicline detail:The gender, age, TCM syndromescore, inflammatory index, and blood gas analysis of two groups, were not statistically significant (P>0.05), means there’s comparable of both groups.2. TCM symptoms and signs:Compared with pre-treatment, both groups’ patients improved obviously in the symptoms and signs after treatment, with the results statistically significant (P>0.05). The effect of the treatment group clinical is better than the matched one, as the results has no statistically significant difference (P>0.05). In the CAT score, were all decreased after treatment in both group, with the differences have statistically sinificance (P<0.05), and the treatment groups’seem to be better than the matched group’(P>0.05). As the mMRC scale, both group has inprovements after treatment, and the matched group seemed to have better effect but not statistically significant (P>0.05), proved that both groups havesimilar effect.3. Laboratory parameters:The white blood cell count, neutrophil percentage of two group were obvious decreased after treatment, but the difference was not significantly sinificant (P>0.05); Blood gas analysis, compared with the treatment group before treatment and after treatment, PaC02, PaO2, TCO2 were improved, and the differences have no statistically sinificance (P<0.05) ; the matched group, before and after treatment, the changes in PaC02, PaO2, TC02 were not unification and statistical difference (P>0.05), means the treatment group has better efficacy in improving blood gas index.conclusionIn the use of bacis western therapy with using CKZ can obviously improve the patients’symptoms, alleviate pulmonary rales, and can effectively improve inflammation index such as the white blood cell count, neutrophil percentage, and the blood gas index to a certain extent. Compared with only using the basic Western medicine, the CKZ can improve the prognosis. The statistics shows the effect is remarkable, with statistical significance.
