The Study Of On The Rheumatoid Arthritis Cases Treating By Professor Chen Jifan Based On Data Mining

ObjectiveThe study is to summarize regulations of administering medicines of Professor Chen Jifan in treating rheumatoid arthritis by using data mining technology such as frequency analysis and association rule, in order to find Chinese medicine syndromes of rheumatoid arthritis and the practice of using Chinese herbs to treat the disease. The syndromes and treatment of Chinese medicine of systemic rheumatoid arthritis are expected. Finally, this study tries to explore the methods of famous doctors’ clinic experience. Evidence-based data to support the guidance of its diagnosis and treatment are also provided.MethodsAll rheumatoid arthritis clinic cases of Professor Chen Jifan in recent one year were collected. Microsoft Access, Excel and SPSS Clementine 12.0 were used to store, analyze and mine data collected. The study is to establish data mining model by using Apriori algorithm, the minimum Support was set to 14%, and the minimm Confidence was set to 80%.ResultsAll 118 cases of rheumatoid arthritis,14 are male and 104 are female, the average age is 48.60 years old. There were total 87 kinds of medicine involved, the total frequency of times were 1129,26 of which frequency was used in more than 10 times, accounting for 83.53% of the total frequency. The most frequently used kind was tonic drugs, it was used 409 times in total, accounting for 39.04% of the total frequency. It followed by promoting blood circulation drugs (20.10%), damp-clearing drugs (12.25%), antirheumatic drugs (11.48%), relieve drugs (10.24%). The high frequency herbal properties and its frequencies are:warm property (45.36%), flat property(32.34%), and cold property(20.57%).79 eligible rules are found out totally.ConclusionAccording to this study, Professor Chen Jifan thinks the cause of RA is the deficiency of the body and the external pathogen. The deficiency of liver, kidney, qi and blood is the internal causes of rheumatoid arthritis occurs, and the wind, cold, phlegm and stasis is the diseases’ factors. The intermingled of phlegm and blood stasis is the basic of throughout pathological link. To tonify deficiency took in major and secondary to promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis, formula for diuresis and diffusing dampness, dispell pathogenic wind and remove dampness. Purgation-tonifying, cold-warm, moist-dry are frequently-used medication rules.
