Analysis The Efficacy And Action Mechanism Of Thunder-fire Moxibustion On Dry Eye With Oculus Keratograph

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical efficacy of thunder-fire moxibustion treatment on dry eye and to explore its action mechanism with Oculus keratograph.MethodsOne hundred and fifty-six patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group adopted moxibustion acupoint therapy by Zhao’s thunder-fire moxibustion which produced at Zhao’s thunder fire moxibustion institute of traditional medicine in Chongqing,China(Standard number:YZB/YU 0095-2013).Once daily, every time 10 minutes,7 days are 1 period of treatment,and then 2 days of break,16 days are one course, 2 days of break at the end of each course, continuous treatment of 2 courses. It combined sodium hyaluronate eye drops (Qilu pharmaceutical factory) therapy. Thrice daily, every time 2 drop s for both eyes,16 days are 1 period of treatment,2 days of break at the end of each period of treatment,continuous treatment of 2 courses.The control group received sodium hyaluronate eye drops.It’s usage with treatment group.In the before and after 2 course of treatment, It appraised the subjective symptoms of dry eye by refering the standard of diagnosis which made by The progress of the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye. Using oculurs keratograph evaluated break-up time of tear film(BUT), Tear meniscus height(TMH),R-Scan and Cornea Fluorescein Staining;.Analyzing these data with statistics software spss 22.0.Results:1.The study included 156 patients,shedding 4 cases,falling rate of 2.56%;2. The collected basis date of 156 cases has no statistical differences (P>0.05) (chart2-1,2-2,2-3,2-4);3. Based on the integral of Subjective symptoms,62 eyes were effective,56 eyes were immproved,34 eyes were invalid in the treatment group.The total effective rate is 77.5%.While in the control group 50 eyes were effective,46 eyes were improved and 56 eyes were invalid. The total effective rate is 63.2%.The treatment group had better improvement on Dry feeling,Foreign body sensation,feeling of fatigue and Itching of eye than the control group (chart 2-8,2-9,2-10,2-11);4. BUT,TMH,R-scan of curative effect comparison (chart 2-5,2-6,2-7) BUT:After the twice course of treatment, comparing differences between the two groups had statistical significance (P<0.05).Treatment group curative effect was better than the control group (illustration A 1-4); TMH:After the twice course of treatment, comparing differences between the two groups had statistical significance (P<0.05).Treatment group curative effect was better than the control group (illustration A 5-8); R-scan:After the twice course of treatment, comparing differences between the two groups had statistical significance (P<0.05).Treatment group curative effect was better than the control group (illustration A 9-12); 5.During treatment,the two groups had no adverse drug (chart 2-12).Conclusion:1.Thunder-fire moxibustion is effective in the treatment on dry eye;2.The curative effect of thunder -fire moxibustion and sodium hyaluronate eye drops be superior to the sodium hyaluronate eye drops only.
