Objective:To observe the clinical effect of using Yun-pi Ping-gan decoction to treat the infantile anorexia due to deficiency of spleen and hyperactivity of liver. By the method of analyzing and comparing the differences of the clinical symptoms and signs between the pro-treatment and post-treatment, the results prove that the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine is superior to the Proprietary Chinese medicine combined western medicine. The curative effect is safe and reliable as well. It enriches the theories of preventing and treating infantile anorexia.Method:All the100cases were collected from pediatric client of the Chinese medicine hospital of Jiangsu province during January,2013to January,2014. These cases were1:1divided into2groups:The treatment group (50cases) was treated by Yun-pi Ping-gan decoction, included Cangzhu、Baizhu、Huaishanyao、Baibiandou、Mudanpi、Baishao、Juhua、Jiaoshanzha、 Chenpi、Laifuzi、Fuling and etc. In the clinical,for qi stagnation, add Qingpi、Zhishi;for dyspepsia,add Binglang、Guya;for yin deficiency,add Shihu、Maidong;for wet resistance medium,add Houp、Yiren and etc. Water decoction, one dose a day, morning and evening hours service. The control group of50cases treated by Proprietary Chinese medicine Zhuangeryin combined western medicine Siliankang. The specific use:Siliankang,0.5g/piece,<1year old, half a piece/times,tid;>1year old, one piece/times,tid. Zhuangeryin Oral Liquid,250ml/bottle,included Cangzhu、Dangseng、Jiaoshanzha、Zhihuangqi、Chaomaya、 Chenpi、Juemingzi、Huhuanglian and etc,<3years old,20ml/times,tid,3-6years old,25ml/times,tid;>6years old,30ml/times,tid.A treatment course last2weeks for each group,observe the curative effect after2courses.After2months, observe the recurrence rate of after treatment.Result:In the aspect of clinical curative effect, the treatment group healed28(56%), significant effected16(32%), effected5(10%), non-effected1(2%), the heal and significant effective rate was88%. On the other hand, the control group healed18(36%), significant effected13(26%), effected14(28%), non-effected5(10%), the heal and significant effective rate was56%. There is significant difference between the trial and control group in clinical curative effect, the treatment group is superior to the control group. In the aspect of clinical curative effect of Chinese medicine symptoms and signs, the treatment group healed27(54%), significant effected14(28%), effected7(14%), non-effected2(4%), the heal and significant effective rate was82%. On the other hand, the control group healed11(22%), significant effected14(28%), effected18(36%), non-effected7(14%), the heal and significant effective rate was50%. There is significant difference between the treatment and control group clinical curative effect of Chinese medicine symptoms and signs,the treatment group is superior to the control group. During the therapy, the main symptoms such as appetite、capacity for eating and the accompanying symptoms such as complexion、 abdominal distension、vomiting、constipation of the two groups both had significantly improved, Besides, There were no adverse reactions recorded during the medication,and the relapse rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group after stopping given the drug two months.So that,the overall effect of the treatment group was superior to the control group.Conclusions:①Through the clinical research, prove that Yun-pi Ping-gan decoction has a clear effect on treatment of infantile anorexia due to deficiency of spleen and hyperactivity of liver, the total curative effect of therapy group were much higher than control group Proprietary Chinese medicine Zhuangeryin combined western medicine Siliankang,and there are no side effects, it is worth for clinical use.②Yunpi Pinggan decoction can enhance the appetite and increase in food intake,it also can improve the accompanying symptoms such as complexion、 abdominal distension、vomiting、constipation and so on.③"Yun-pi Ping-gan decoction" has obvious recent curative effect, and recurrence rates significantly lower than control group after2months.④Yun-pi Ping-gan decoction is an effective prescription in treating infantile anorexia. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that:The main location of Children’s anorexia was in spleen and stomach and often related to liver in the process of disease. Corporeity of children are often in insufficiency of spleen and sufficiency of liver, literature reviews and Clinical studies both indicated that infantile anorexia belongs to spleen deficient and liver stronger syndrome takes up a great proportion. Professor li jiang quan sums up a series of effective TCM treatment of pediatric disease under years of clinical experience, On the basis of transporting spleen, add the idea of calming the liver, self-made Chinese herbal "Yunpi Pinggan decoction", find a new idear and new method on prevention and treatment Of infantile anorexia.
