| Objective:To find a safe and effective treatments to alleviate the progress of postmenopausal osteoporosis is a valuable research in clinical studies.This study is to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Gu-Ci-Xiao Mixture Decoction in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis,and to provide the basis for the intervention of Chinese medicine treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis.Methods:By using the principle of a randomized comparison,36cases were consi stent with the clinical study criteria,and were randomly divided into three groups:Gu-Ci-Xiao Mixture Decoction group(treatment group), Xian-Ling-Gu-Bao capsule group (Chine se patent medicine group) and Caltrate D group (Western medicine group),Three groups we re given basic treatment for Caltrate D600mg, Treatment group Gu-Ci-Xiao Mixture Dec oction while the Chinese patent medicine group with Xian-Ling-Gu-Bao capsule group, durling a eight-week treatment,then observe VAS, the hanges of points syndromes,bio chemical markers, bone mineral density of the lumbar spine and hip at one day before treatment, after4weeks of treatment, after8weeks of treatment and12weeks post-tre atment.Results:1.Symptom score:Symptom score of the treatment group, the Chinese patent medi cine group and the Western medicine group has difference between pre-treatment and po st-treatment,which has statistically significant (P<0.05),but compared with that of the W estern medicine group, the difference of the treatment group and has no statistically sig nificant(P>0.05);the decrease of symptom score of the treatment group, the Chinese p atent medicine group is more obvious than the Western medicine group,which has statist ically significant (P<0.05).2.Bone mineral density:BMD of hip and L1-4increased in the treatment group, th e Chinese patent medicine group after4weeks of treatment and after12weeks of tre atment is not obvious, compared with one day before treatment, which has no statistical ly significant(P>0.05),but the difference between after12weeks of treatment and one day before treatment has statistically significant (P<0.05);the increasement of BMD of the Western medicine group has no statistically significant(P>0.05);4weeks after drug withdrawal,BMD of hip and L1-4was decreased,which has no statistically significant(P>0.05).3.Biochemical markers:compared with the Western medicine group, the changes of BGP、S-E2and PTH is better than that of the Western medicine group,which has statis tically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Gu-Ci-Xiao Mixture Decoction has significant effects on alleviating painless of PMOP, can improve BMD, which can effectively prevent and treat PMOP. |
