Objective:This study use clinical epidemiological methods to explore the metabolic syndrome in TCM. Using LC-MS technology to find the metabolic syndrome, and with the normal relevant metabolites of serum, in order to illustrate essence of metabolic syndrome’s TCM zheng. Methods:This research collected324cases of patients with metabolic syndrome and109cases, the basic clinical data and blood lipids, fasting blood glucose, blood pressure, waist circumference, visceral fat coefficient and so on carries on the statistical analysis. This research selected random40patients with metabolic syndrome serum samples, among which20cases were phlegm turbidity resistances syndrome and the rest wasn’t, and8cases were healthy group serum samples. The selected serum samples were detected after pretreatment using LC-MS to separate metabolism molecular markers.Result:Firstly,178patients with metabolic syndrome were turbid phlegm stasis type, accounting for54.9%,66cases of gastric-fever and dampness-stagnation type, which accounts for20.4%,33cases of qi-yin deficiency type, accounting for10.2%,31cases of phlegm-stasis blood type, accounting for9.6%,16cases of pi-shen deficiency type, accounting for4.9%. SBP, DBP, FBG, waistline, BMI, TG and LDL-L levels of patients with metabolic syndrome group were significantly higher than healthy group (p<0.05),and HDL-C levels was significantly lower than healthy group; Compared to non-turbid phlegm stasis type, TG levels in patients with turbid phlegm stasis was higher(p<0.05),and FBG levels was lower(p<0.05);But SBP, DBP, FBG, waistline, BMI, HDL-C and LDL-L levels of the group was no significant difference(p>0.05).Secondly, metabolomic identification of the metabolic syndrome are: Sphinganine,4,5-dehydro Docosahex-aenoic Acid, Uric acid,17-phenyl trinor Prostaglandin E2serinol amide, L-Valine, L-Leucine, Hypoxanthine, PGE2, Galactitol1-phosphate,UDP-4-dehydro-6-deoxy-D-glucose, PC(15:0), Glycocholic Acid, PC(19:0), Octanoylcarnitine,15(S)-15-methyl PGF2a ethyl amide,Palmitic-amide,PC(20:0),Hexanoylcarnitine, deoxycholic acid3-glucuronide, Npalmitoyl taurine,Oxoglutaric acid,17-phenyl trinor PGF2a-amide, PC(10:0).Thirdly, metabolomic identification of the turbid phlegm stasis type of metabolic syndrome are:PC(20:4), Palmitoyl-L-carnitine, Xanthine, PC(18:3), Glycocholic Acid, PC(15:0), PC(16:0), Glycerophospho-N-Arachidonoyl Ethanolamine, N-palmitoyl taurine,N-oleoyl taurine,1-Palmitoyl Lysophosphatidic Acid, EPA, Taurolithocholic acid3-glucuronide, Pyroglutamic acid, UDP-4-dehydro-6-deoxy-D-glucose, Eicosapentaenoic Acid ethyl ester, Uric acid, PC(17:0), Lipoxin C4, PGE2, Creatinine, Linoleic acid, Acetylcarnitine, cholesterol sulfate, Geranylgeranyl PP, Androsterone sulfate, Indox-ylsulfuric acid. Conclusion:Firstly, turbid Phlegm stasis type is the main metabolic syndrome type. Compared to non-turbid phlegm stasis type, TG levels in patients with turbid phlegm stasis was higherSecondly, we find out23kinds of metabolomic identification of metabolic syndrome, and27kinds metabolomic identification of of phlegm turbidity stasis type of metabolic syndrome.
