A Retrospective Study On The Pathogenic Bacteria And TCM Syndromes Of Bronchiectasis In Acute Stage In Lingnan

ObjectiveIn order to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment for bronchiectasis, and make people can do better when make the treatment planning for bronchiectasis patients,we review past cases, notice the patterns of tcm syndromes distribution and disease distribution from bronchiectasis patients who live in Lingnan.MethodsBy retrospective study, a total of383patients were collected in the survey. The spring group (from February4th to May4th) incidence90cases;The summer group (from May5th to August7th) incidence98cases;The fall group (from August8th to November7th) incidence94cases;The winter group (from November8th to February3rd) incidence101cases. All cases were bronchiectasis patients who take a cure in Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital. Through epidemiological survey methods, we analysis four seasons of the distribution of TCM syndrome and disease distribution from bronchiectasis patients in acute period who live in Lingnan.ResultsInfection and pathogenic bacteria:I found136strains bacterium in the383patients. The gram-negative bacteria are most, which include Pseudomonas aeruginosa81strains,58.7%of the total bacteria; Klebsiella pneumoniae8strains,5.9%of the totalbacteria; Escherichia coli3strains, total bacteria was2.2%;2cases of claySerratia marcescens, accounting for1.9%of the total bacteria;Stenotrophomonas maltophilia2strains, accounting for1.9%of the total bacteria;other gram-negative bacteria,4strains, accounting for2.9%of the total bacteria. The fungus25strains,19.7%of total bacteria; Gram-positive bacteria public5strains, including Staphylococcus aureus4 strains, accounting for2.9%of the total bacteria, Hemolytic Staphylococcus1species,0.7%of total bacteria; acid fast bacilli4isolates, accounting for2.9%of the total bacteria.Pattern of syndrome distribution:The top five in the sping group:Exogenous evil Invading lung, Phlegm heat and blood stasis, Phlegm heat and blood stasis with Organs deficiency, Turbid phlegm obstructing in the lun with Organs deficiency, Phlegm heat and blood stasis with deficiency of both vital energy and yin; The top five in the summer group:Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung, Phlegm heat and blood stasis, Exogenous evil Invading lung, hepatic fire attacking lung, Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung with deficiency of both vital energy and yin. The top five in the Autumn group:Hepatic fire attacking lung, Phlegm heat and blood stasis with deficiency of both vital energy and yin, Phlegm heat and blood stasis, Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung. The top five in the winner group:Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung, Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung with deficiency of both vital energy and yin, Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung with Organs deficiency, Hlegm heat and blood stasis with Organs deficiency, Hepatic fire attacking lung. Synthesized the four groups dates, wo find the top nine pattern of syndromes:Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung, Hepatic fire attacking lung, Phlegm heat and blood stasis, Exogenous evil Invading lung, Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung, Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung with deficiency of both vital energy and yin, Phlegm heat and blood stasis with deficiency of both vital energy and yin, Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung with Organs deficiency, Turbid phlegm obstructing in the lung with Organs deficiency, Phlegm heat and blood stasis with Organs deficiency.The nature of disease:In the372cases,193cases were demonstration,26cases were deficiency syndrome,153cases weredeficiency and excess.Conclusion,1. Most of bronchiectasis had new onset of infection in acute stage, The gram-negative bacteria are most, Especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa.2. It have small difference in tcm syndromes among different seasons.3. The nature of disease of Lingnan bronchiectasis patient in acute stage are almost emonstration, weredeficiency and excess, deficiency syndromels much less. The top ten pattern of syndromes:Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung, Hepatic fire attacking lung, Phlegm heat and blood stasis, Exogenous evil Invading lung, Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung, Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung with deficiency of both vital energy and yin, Phlegm heat and blood stasis with deficiency of both vital energy and yin, Phlegm-heat obstructing in the lung with Organs deficiency, Turbid phlegm obstructing in the lung with Organs deficiency, Phlegm heat and blood stasis with Organs deficiency, fire excess from yin deficiency.
