ObjectiveThe clinical research of The neck type of cervical spondylosis with acupuncture treatment combined with herbal Patches to investigate the value of the clinical methods to treat The neck type of cervical spondylosis.MethodsTo collect the cervical spondylosis patients who are in line with inclusion criteria for the ordinary acupuncture and ordinary acupuncture combined with herbal Patches from The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. To using the NPQ scales and the VAS rating scales acess the clinical efficacy from the cervical spondylosis patient.Results1-All the patient’s scores of NPQ scales and VAS rating scales have decreased after the first week’s treatment and second week’s treatment. There was difference Statistically significance (P>0.05) between the NPQ scales and VAS rating scales by paired "T" test.2. From the VAS rating scales, we could make a conclusion that the group of acupuncture combined with herbal patches was better than the others in proving the neck pain after the first week’s treatment. And after the second week’s treatment, there was no overt difference (P<0.01) in the efficacy between all the patients.Conclusion1. Two types of treatment are effective in treating the cervical spondylosis neck pain.2. The group of acupuncture combined with herbal patches was better than the others in proving the neck pain after the first week’s treatment. There was no significant difference in the efficacy after two week’s treatment between two groups of patients.3. By adding herbal patches in the treatment of cervical syndrome on the basis of ordinary acupuncture, neck pain can be a faster improvement in clinical symptoms.
