Objective To analyze the the main influence factors of professional identity of Ningxianursing students and to find the means of professional identity education.To improve theoccupational identity of nursing students and to provide the ideas and theoretical basis for theeducation of nursing students.Method1. Survey of the professional identity of nursing students1054students were surveyed uesing "Nursing Students Professional IdentityQuestionnaire” to collect the information of professional identity of nursing students in thetwo university2. Experimental Study of effects of occupational emotional education and career planning onprofessional identity of nursing students150freshman in Ningxia Teachers’ College were randomly divided into4groups: group1for the professional emotional education experimental group, and accepted the emotionaleducation; Group2for career planning counseling experimental group, receiving careerplanning counseling; Group3for comprehensive experimental group receiving occupationalemotional education and career planning counseling; Group4as the control group receivedconventional teaching.3. Satisfaction survey of professional identity education150subjects were surveyed by using “Professional Identity Education SatisfactionQuestionnaire” after the experiment. Result(A) The general situation of Ningxia professional identity of nursing students of the twoschools.1. The overall score of professional identity in nursing students is (84.37±11.65), is a generalrecognition level;2. There were no significant difference in the level of professional identity between differentschools, gender, ethnicity, only-child or not.(all P>0.05); There were significant differencebetween different grades, academic, college admission volunteer, studying reasons (all P<0.05);3. Grade, studying reasons, the score, family income and college admission volunteer havelinear regression relationship with the level of professional identity.4. The highest proportion is to facilitate the employment, followed by obeying the parents’opinion, but the nursing students like the profession is of the highest level of professionalidentity.(B) The experimental results.1. The professional attitude score of all3experimental groups after the experiment wereincreased, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), as the control group was nodifferences (P>0.05);2. Differences in the level of professional identity in each group were significant. Professionalidentity score for each experimental group were higher than the the control group, and theexperimental group scored higher than the career planning counseling group and the emotionaleducation group.3. The2scores of career awareness, career values, were increased (all P<0.05) of careerplanning counseling group; The2scores career expectations, professional emotion wereincreased (P<0.05); The3scores of career awareness, professional emotion, occupationalvalues of the comprehensive experimental group were increased (all P<0.05); The score of the control group before and after the experiment the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(C) The Satisfaction Survey of Professional identity Education Results1.66.00%of nursing students think that the professional identity depends largely on their own,and22.70%think that depends primarily on the social environment.2.68.00%of nursing students think that the trainee is the most influential form of vocationaleducation activities of school; as more than27.50%of nursing students of emotionaleducation group and the comprehensive experimental group think the most influential form ofprofessional identity of this experimenta is to view image data (images, video, etc.); and32.50%of the participants of the experimental group of career planning counseling think iscounseling lecture.3. The professional understanding of each experimental group get a positive change in theproportion of more than91.18%, which gives an experimental group of more than97.37%,73.81%in the control group;28.70%of nursing students think the change was mainly due tothe impact of a professional teacher.Conclusion This study shows that:1. The level of professional identity Ningxia nursingstudents is a general recognition;2. Career planning counseling and occupational emotionaleducation will help raise the level of professional identity of nursing students; Thecomprehensive of professional emotional education and career planning counseling are moreeffective;3. Nursing students think that the professional identity primarily depends on its ownfactors.4. The professional teachers’effect can not be ignored.
