[Objective]Canine patellar dislocation is one of the most common pet clinical disease. In under the action of various pathogenic factors, canine patellar cannot be located the trochlear trench which are the normal anatomic position, and unable to maintain and participate in normal knee function of telescopic movement, which appears different levels of motor dysfunction, and even lead to paralysis. At present, the study of canine patellar dislocation clinical diagnosis and treatment is lacking in china. Therefore, the present study was to investigate the clinical diagnosis and surgical treatment methods of canine patellar dislocation.[Method]This study selected 68 cases of surgical treatment as the research object. By clinical examination, pathology examination and imaging examination, etc., we found dislocation of patella in grade 2had 12 cases, grade 3had 50 cases, grade4 had 6 cases. Based on the results of diagnosis surgical carried out corresponding treatment including soft tissue reconstruction and bone tissue reconstruction. The two types of treatment can be combined with or various surgical procedures were used in treatment of canine patellar dislocation.[Results](1)By follow-up the postoperative cases, three case of patellar dislocation found complications, one cases of cruciate ligament rupture, two cases of chronic osteoarthritis, other sicked dogs were recovered, no recurrence or complications. Therefore, the surgical treatment methods bring a clinical cure rate of 95.59%, the failure rate is 4.41% in our study.(2)Clinical grade 2 patellar dislocation were all trochlear groove deepened, part of the quadriceps muscle free, artificial ligament sac reconstruction for treatment. Grade 3 patellar dislocation 50 cases all trochlear groove deepening, in 31 cases of artificial ligament sac and reengineering, 18 cases of tibial tuberosity displacement, 36 cases were quadriceps free. Grade 4 patellar dislocation have 6 cases.5 cases of trochlear groove deepened, another case due to serious damage to the trochlear groove of artificial knee joint replacement. 4 cases of dislocation of the femoral head should be carried out by the four head of the femoral muscle free+tibial thick long displacement or artificial ligament reconstruction combined with the treatment.[Conclusion](1) The results show that it has an obvious effect and a high cure rate to grade2 and 3 of canine patellar dislocation though surgery treatment. while there is still a large probability for grade 4 dislocation to occur complications and poor prognosis. Sowe suggested that we should be careful after prognosis;(2) Different classes of canine patellar dislocation should adopt different operartion. Grade 2,and Grade 3 of patellar dislocation should be treated well and high cure rate bypulley groove to deepen, quadriceps free combined with tibial tuberosity displacement, artificial ligament extracapsular reengineering treatment. As for grade 4 cases,we often need to consider the tibia bone cutting according to the specific situation to decide whether we should operate orthopedics, femoral bone orthopedics and knee joint arthroplasty and other technical treatment besides what we deal with grade 3 cases.
