Long-term practice has proved that the vaccine immunization is one of the mosteffective way to prevent and control infectious diseases in livestock and poultry, which notonly can make resistance to some kind of pathogens, but also lay a solid foundation tocontrol and eliminate the diseases finally. In China, the main comprehensive prevention andcontrol measure is vaccine immunization, and the evaluation of vaccine mainly depends ondetecting immune antibody levels. It is considered that they can effect to prevent thepathogen infections when the antibody levels reach the corresponding titers. Currently, asthe major diseases require compulsory immunization, swine fever, swine foot-and-mouthdisease, avian influenza and Newcastle disease are the serious viral infections in the scalelivestock and poultry farms. The detection of immune antibody levels is an important ofcontent to measure the diseases in the scale livestock and poultry farms, and also thesignificant basis for making disease prevention and control scheme in livestock and poultryfarms.In order to provide the basic data for prevention and control the main diseases inYanling of Xi’an, this study collected and tested1504serum samples from27farms in7towns in this region, and evaluated the vaccine immune antibody levels of swine fever,swine foot-and-mouth disease, avian influenza and Newcastle disease based on the actualsituation of the vaccine immunization during disease prevention and control. The results ofthis survey were as follows:1. The immune antibody testing result of swine fever, swine foot-and-mouth disease,avian influenza and Newcastle disease in Yanliang district in2013,2014showed that thepositive rates of swine fever immune antibody were82.54%and83.78%respectively, thepositive rates of pig O FMD immune antibody were88.46%and88.29%respectively, thepositive rates of avian influenza immune antibody were83.10%and85.71%respectively,and Newcastle disease immune antibody were83.57%and85.23%respectively.2. Detection of immune antibody levels of vaccines showed that the immune antibodypositive rates of swine fever, swine foot-and-mouth disease, avian influenza and Newcastledisease in sampling farms were higher than70%of the standards required by the department of agriculture, which indicated that the immune work in main diseases of pigsand chickens in Yanling distinct was effective in recent year. However, due to the lowantibody positive rates, it still needs to pay attention and strengthen the prevention andcontrol of those four major diseases. |
