Asparagus was a vegetable-based food and medicine, there was a wealth ofnutrients, and contains flavonoids, polysaccharides and saponins and other bioactivefactors. People eated their spears, accounting for76.5%of the remaining stalks, leaves, fruits were regarded as industry," junk", which also was rich in activeingredients, thrown away or burned, causing great damage to the environment whilewasting resources. This article aimed to explore the asparagus stalks extract onHy-Line Brown chicken growth performance, blood parameters, organ index, digestive enzyme activity and intestinal mucosal morphology, asparagus waste tohigh-value used for reference.Tested to select an age, body weight similar to (38±1g), in good health plume225Hy-Line Brown chicks were randomly divided into five groups (n=3replicatesof15birds). Each group were supplemented with0(control group),5.0(Ⅰgroup),7.5(Ⅱgroup),10(Ⅲ group) and12.5g/kg (Ⅳ group). asparagus stalks extract basaldiet, the test period6weeks. Determination of body weight each week, feedconsumption and blood parameters3weeks,6weeks old at the end of organ index, digestive enzyme activity and intestinal mucosal morphology, the following results.1、Dietary extracts of asparagus stalks1to3weeks old chicks daily gain, feedintake, feed conversion ratio had not significantly affected (P>0.05); average dailygain of4to6weeks Ⅲ group weight, feed conversion ratio were significantly higherand lower than the control group, Ⅳ group (P<0.05).1to6weeks of age feedconversion ratio was significantly lower than the control group Ⅲ and Ⅳ group(P<0.05), Ⅲ group, the average weight of the heaviest end, but the difference betweengroups was not significant (P>0.05).2、Extracts of asparagus stalks3-week-old chicks blood biochemistry was nosignificant difference (P>0.05);6-week-old added group significantly increased serumtotal protein, albumin, significantly reduced lactate dehydrogenase, cholesterol levels(P<0.05). Asparagus stalks extract on blood lymphocyte levels in chicks havesignificantly increased (P<0.05).3、Dietary asparagus stalks extract a small amount of influence on chicks organindex.3weeks of age, pancreas and spleen index Ⅲ group was significantly higher(P<0.05), the difference between the other groups was not significant (P>0.05).6weeks of age, the organ indices were not there significant differences (P>0.05)between groups.4、Asparagus stalks extract of3-week-old chicks IgG, IgM had no significanteffect (P>0.05), but the group Ⅲ, Ⅳ group IgA levels were significantly higher (P<0.05);6weeks of age group Ⅲ IgG levels were significantly higher in group Ⅳ andⅠgroup (P<0.05), no significant difference in other indexes (P>0.05). 5、Asparagus stalks extract on the activity of chicks influential. When3weeksand6weeks, Ⅲ、Ⅳ group duodenal amylase activity were significantly higher thanⅠ group and control group (P<0.05); lipase activity appeared significantly higherthan the control group test at6weeks of age only group (P<0.05).6、Dietary asparagus stalks extract could significantly affect chicks duodenal wallthickness, villus height, crypt depth and villus height/crypt depth (V/C)(P <0.05),3-week-old group Ⅲ, Ⅳ group results highlight,6-week-old group had the highestadded Ⅳlower, but better than the control group. Thus, Diets asparagus stalks extract can affect growth performance, intestinalmucosal morphology and immune performance, and the performance is improved.Taken together, the diet of laying hens asparagus stalks extract optimal dosage10g/kg.
