| This experiment was conducted on weaned piglets to study the effects of dietary supplementation of poplar polyphenols and Xylooligosaccharides on growth performance, immune function and blood biochemical indexes of weaned piglets. In this study,72 weaned piglets with the same background and similar body weight were randomly divided into 3 treatment groups with 4 replicates for each treatment and 6pigs for each repeat. The 3 treatments were antibiotic antibiotics group(basic diet +75mg/kg quinolone and 10 mg/kg enranthromycin),polyphenols group(basic diet +0.05%Polyphenols),and xylooligosaccharides group(basic diet +0.01% xylooligosaccharides).Experiment 1,Piglets were weighed on an empty stomach and feed consumption was recorded for each group.Mean daily intake(ADFI),daily gain(ADG)and feed weight ratio(F/G)were calculated. At the end of the trial,6 samples were randomly selected from each treatment for routine blood collection. The final weight and average daily gain of piglets were significantly reduced by dietary xylose oligosaccharide(P < 0.05),and the feed weight ratio was significantly higher than that of the antibiotic group(P<0.05).The mean daily feed intake, feed to meat ratio and average daily weight gain of piglets were not significantly different from the antibiotic group when polyphenols was added to the diet(P>0.05).In summary: the effect of 0.05% polyphenol extract on growth performance of weaned piglets was similar to that of antibiotics, but the effect of 0.01%xylooligosaccharides on growth performance was slightly lower than that of the antibiotic group.Experiment 2,At the end of the trial,6 blood samples were randomly selected from each treatment to determine blood biochemical indexes. The results showed that dietary addition of 0.05% polyphenols and 0.01% xylooligosaccharides reduced the content of TP by 9.60% and 5.03%,respectively,compared with the antibiotic group(P > 0.05).Compared with the antibiotic group,AST activity in the polyphenols group increased by6.05%(P > 0.05),while ALP activity decreased by 7.76%(P > 0.05).In xylooligosaccharides group,AST activity decreased by 17.28%(P >0.05)while ALP activity increased by 5.06%(P>0.05).Therefore,dietary addition of polyphenols and xylooligosaccharides can replace the use of antibiotics in feed.Experiment 3,At the end of the trial,6 blood samples were randomly selected from each treatment to test the body’s antioxidant and immune indexes. The results showed that compared with the antibiotic group, dietary polyphenols significantly increased the content of Ig A in serum(P< 0.05).The content of serum Ig G in xylose group was significantly higher than that in antibiotic group(P< 0.05).Compared with the antibiotic group, the content of GSH-PX in the Polyphenols group and the xylooligosaccharides group decreased by 3.84% and 4.40% respectively(P>0.05),with no significant difference. In conclusion, dietary supplementation of 0.05% polyphenols and 0.01%xylooligosaccharides can significantly improve the serum Ig A and Ig G content of weaned piglets, thus improving the immune function of the body, and improving the antioxidant capacity in vivo. |
