Hazelnut is one of the most important dry-seed fruits in international trade and it has economic importance for food industry. Hybrid hazelnut is the main cultivar in north china.The Research on hybrid hazelnut only began a few years, so the study on the cultivation and management of hybrid hazelnut was less. The fruiting habit of hybrid hazelnut and the effects of plant growth regulator and N、 P, K on the nutrient growth、reproductive growth and carbohydrate level was studied in the paper. Besides, the relationship between the mineral elements content in leaves and fruit yield, fruit quality, leaf color in different periods was also studied.Main results as follows:1. The fruiting cane of the hybrid hazelnut were almost brachyblast and medium shoots, the bearing shoot were also almost brachyblast and medium shoots.2. The numbers of male flowers and female flowers were increasing with the increasing of flowering shoots’length.3. The differences between the general characteristics of different shoots in Hybrid hazelnut were large. The vegetation growth of shoots longer than60.0cm were the most vigorous, the numbers of female flowers were the largest. There were5.64female flowers per shoot of Liaozhen No.7and there were23.63female flowers per shoot of81-21. The vegetation growth of shoots between30.0-60.0cm were weaker than shoots longer than60.0cm. There were3.97female flowers per shoot of Liaozhen No.7and there were7.47female flowers per shoot of81-21. The vegetation growth of shoots shorter than30.0cm was the least vigorous and the number of female flowers was the least. There were only0.57female flowers per shoot of Liaozhen No.7and there were only1.10female flowers per shoot of81-21.4. Among all fruiting cane characters the relationship between the number of fruiting branches and the single branch fruit quantities was the biggest. Among all fruiting branch characters the relationship between the coarseness of fruiting branches and the number of fruits was the biggest.5. Heavily retractive pruning can change the composition of shoots in Hybrid hazelnut. It can raise the proportion of long shoots and it can also increase the number of female flowers.6. We can use1200mg/L PP333to regulate the flowering of Liaozhen No.7and use150mg/L GA3to regulate the flowering of81-21.7. In the process of flowering differentiation of hybrid hazelnut, the soluble sugar content and the sucrose content both showed a trend which first rise then drop. It means that the flowering differentiation of hybrid hazelnut needs a lot of soluble sugar and sucrose.8. The effect of N:P:K=0.35%:0.18%:0.52%on the yield and quality of Davy was the best, the effect of N:P:K=0%:0.26%:0.52%on the yield and quality of Liaozhen No.7was the best and the effect of N:P:K=0.35%:0.37%:%on the yield and quality of81-19was the best.9. The leaf K content should be more than2.329Kg·g-1during the young fruits fast growth period and the leaf Mn content should be more than1.169Kg·g-1during the kernel development period if we want to have a yield more than1.0Kg in Davy. The leaf K content should be more than15.254Kg·g-1and the leaf Mg content should be more than61.235Kg·g-1during the kernel development period if we want to have a yield more than1.5Kg in81-19.10. Using digital image technology to diagnose the contents of N、Mn、Ca in the new shoots fast growing period, the contents of N、K、Mn、Ca in the ovary enlargement stage, the contents of P、 Fe in the young fruits fast growth period is feasible.
