Research On Production Process Reengineering Of JCH Furniture Company Based On Lean Production

Furniture is people indispensable daily necessities and closely related to people’s life. Although China furniture industry has been showing a new vitality and appearance, but the existing problems of China furniture industry can not be ignored. In numerous furniture manufacturing enterprises in China, the development of the foreign furniture enterprises has an important influence on the development of the furniture industry. Based on a foreign furniture manufacturers- JCH companies, in allusion to the problem of the face, based on the idea of lean production, process reengineering, and its development has important practical significance.This paper aims to expound some understanding of theory of process reengineering and lean production, and has proposed the formation of a new management method by the combination of some ideas and methods of lean production and process reengineering, it is helpful for the use of the theory of business process reengineering in enterprises to be more effective and more comprehensive. In the face of fierce market competition and the furniture market downturn, JCH company existing space was squeezed and the survival pressure becomes more and more heavy. Only through change, can be the survival and develop. By analyzing internal environment and external environment of JCH, found JCH’s actual situation of small size, limited resources and the shortage of cash flow and so on. However, long production cycle is the key to restricting JCH company survival and development. So we use Value Stream Mapping analyze company and the idea of lean production to analyze JCH’s production processes, and we think only of process reengineering can solve the waste in the production process and the irrational in carpentry workshop layout. The ideas and plan of JCH company process reengineering has put into implementation of the scheme in JCH company. Implementation results show that based on the idea of lean production to JCH company production process reengineering is operable, and help enterprises to solve the problems in the production process.Through the production process reengineering, on the one hand, to solve the problems existing in JCH company production, shorten the production cycle and improve the production efficiency, reduce the production cost. On the other hand also find JCH company production bottlenecks and bottleneck process, provides direction for JCH company continuous improvement and has reference significance for the development of other foreign furniture enterprises.
