Study On BKH Company COC Production Line Flexible Reengineering

At present, the global economy is more and more competitive. Lean production, BPR and flexible production theory has been widely used in manufacturing enterprises. Though continuous pursue of low-cost, many enterprises gain competitive advantage, so more and more multinational companies shift their manufacturing to developing countries. China is the world's manufacturing center in the formative stages. Under this era of economic and background, BKH Company has come into China. Although Successful transfer of production lines solve a temporary crisis of survival, but if the world's advanced theory do not change disruptively, a crisis of survival still exists, not to mention a rapid development. So, for the BKH's current situation and problems, production lines do the flexible reengineering based on Lean has the profound significance.The content of this paper is about COC production line flexible reengineering based on the lean Thinking. The study focuses on the design and implementation of flexible reengineering. First, Lean production, BPR and Flexible production theory are described respectively. The core idea of these theories and methods are throughout the entire design and implementation. Second, the basic profiles of COC production characteristics are introduced and summarized. Analyze the main problems by fish bone diagram and brainstorming. These problems focus reflects the current production system flexibility is not big enough. The conclusion of COC production line need for flexible reengineering is come out. The urgency of implementation and feasibility are demonstrated also. Third, the specific design program is discussed. We know from the theory of Lean production, the high flexibility of Lean production consist of organizational, labor and equipment flexibility. So according to the logic of these three classifications, design is divided to organizational flexibility, labor flexibility design and equipment flexibility reengineering. At the same time, improve organizational flexibility, improve labor flexibility and improve equipment flexibility are mutually reinforcing. Fourth, the specific implementation of the design is discussed. Implementation is divided into risk analysis and prevention, concrete steps and arrangements, problems encountered and solutions and results analysis. Finally, do a concluding discussion. Through the COC production line design and implementation of flexible reengineering, we solve the current organization lack of dynamics project teams which lead to insufficient flexibility problem, staff with single skill can't respond flexible to market changes problem and the flexibility to transform production line on equipment is insufficient problem and so on. The effective application of Lean production and BPR method explained they are development of the times and have a further significance for survival and development of enterprises.
