Toyota Production System (TPS) was recognized as the most successful management system. The western academician developed the philosophy, theory and technic of TPS and called Lean Production. Currently, the America and the European countries are studying on the Lean Production as well as the Asian countries. The more and more companies are following the Lean Production system and implementing. As foreign invested sub-company of a lead electronic measurement company in the world, the X Company considers the Lean Production as its primary task according the headquarters' policy. The X Company are doing the Lean conversion on all its production lines, and the signal source production line Lean reengineering is one of all the projects.This study focuses on the Lean reengineering scheme design and implementation. This scheme includes five blocks such as new process design, new process document design, TPM scheme design, DM scheme design, and VRK scheme design. Also the study did some description on the scheme implementation, including the detail steps of implantation, the issues which need to be paid attention to, and the result analysis of the reengineering. The study is based on the Lean Production, the 6 Sigma and the reengineering theory. Starting from the brief introduction, the study analyzed the current problems in the production line. Consider the possibility of the Lean Production reengineering. After that, the study described how to make the new process scheme, how to implement the scheme and also did the conclusion on, pointed out the most things which need to be focused on in the Lean Production reengineering process. The study analyzed the performance indicators between new process and old process to show the improvement in the Lean Production reengineering. More over, three conclusion was got from the study, which are the Lean Production reengineering reduced the wastes of inventory, defects rework, ensure the quality, optimize the process, reduce the lead time and cost, improve the productivity; combine the six sigma theory and Lean will get their strongpoint and reject their weaknesses; the Lean Production reengineering should obtain more support from the proper pay system to get more power for the continue improvement. Without the support from the proper pay system, the Lean Production is nothing helps. Finally, it was pointed out that the further studies will be Kanban system, "one batch" Lean cell and pay system for the Lean Production staff.The core of Lean Production is banishing the waste and the target is to get the perfects on everything. The study on Lean Production theory and practice will be more help for the management innovation and international competitive advantage of China manufacturing as well as the continue development of the China economy.
