Research On The Development Strategy Of Victory Company

From2002to2012, The rapid development of the domestic economy causes the demand of energy grew rapidly.However, the mining industry has been in a downturn because of the domestic economy since2013.Production and profits of the mining enterprises like Shenhua and Chinacoal have suffered different degrees of decline.The mining industry in each province and autonomous region is confronted with more severe situations. Meanwhile, the pressure of cost, environmental protection and supervision is unprecedented increasing. The oil, gas, shale gas and photovoltaic industries give rise to the mining industry. Import coal occupies the demand of coal. How to survive in such severe economic environment is a question for all coal mining companies.Victory Company is a coal mining company located in Xilingol. It’s a key question that how to change the declining tendency and choosing the proper strategy. The thesis applied strategy theories, combining the internal and external environment, qualitative and quantitative research methods. Ideas and methods of the future strategic development of the company were discussed as well.First, the thesis on the existing strategic development and evolution theory has combed, then listed the main points of the theoretical development strategy for each school.Secondly, the external environment the enterprise faced was analyzed by using PEST. It is briefly introduced the aspect of resource management, production, capacity, etc. on the internal situation, then using SWOT to analyze the threats, opportunities, strengthen and weakness.Last, the thesis gives the principle of strategy selecting and the development strategy, competitive strategy and functional strategy, then proposes the safeguards measure for production, management.
