YZCN as the largest radio and television network operators in Yangzhou, is providing radio and television networks, digital television, Internet, video surveillance business. As the monopoly was broken, and the rapid development of Internet TV industry, competition among the domestic digital TV media operators increasingly fierce. YZCN should also change from a traditional monopolistic operator providing a single product to a customer demand-oriented operator providing innovation product service, enrich the product category and improve service awareness. It is urgent to analyze and optimalize the current product-oriented project management process.This paper takes the project management of products in YZCN as the research object, on the basis to the Project Management theory and Business Process Improvement theory to investigate and research the project management of products in YZCN. First, to conduct a comprehensive survey of YZCN, have an overall grasp of the management situation, especially focus on the project management of products, such as project management processes, organizational structure and project management effectiveness. Then, on the basis to the Project Management theory, Business Process Improvement theory and Customer Relationship Management theory, by systematically analysing the project management effectiveness, some defects were found in project management processes and organizational structure. And then, based on the specific requirements of the different stages, the project management process and organizational structure of the project management of services products are analyzed, and the problem is found. Finally, puts forward a series of improvement measures based on the requirements of the different project management stages。 First, evaluate the project for scientific screening in the stage of project planning. Second, set up a project team and create project schedule. Third, strengthen the control of each process during the project implementation, according to the early development of the project plan, take measures to rectify the deviation through dynamic tracking, ensure progress, quality, cost and other objectives are achieved. Fourth, in the project acceptance stage, standardized inspection process to ensure that problems found at the end of the project can still be solved in time, so that the company’s interests can be protected. Finally, a scientific evaluation indices system is imperative to evaluate a project and provide experience for the project management in the future, form a virtuous cycle.
