Microblog has been an important part of people’s lives. Media microblog is an important topic setter of platform of microblog. Nowadays, printed medias, TV stations, transceivers, websites and media players have all launched microblog by transforming business ideas, which can publish original information and deliver the brand value. Media microblog, which have been relying on the Internet technologies and platforms, along with new media players, seize the opportunities of development of new media environment to enhance the influence of public opinion and credibility. By playing an important "experimental field" value, microblog media make up the primary deficiency of traditional media in response to news timeliness and interactive with the netizen. The interactive procedure also has many innovations on the Agenda Setting Theory. This article analyzes the application and innovation of the Agenda Setting Theory in the setting of new media environment based on professional point. Taking @the People’s Daily as object of analysis, this article analyze detailed data on their production and agenda-setting mechanism, to provide some data of references, the theoretical basis and guidance for further development of media miroblog.
