Nowadays electronic technology is developing at very fast speed. Large Scale integrated circuit is applied to the electronic systems more and more. Competitive market requires a product from design to the shorter time to market, the better, Many product development time is spent in order to solve most of the high-speed Printed Circuit Board design in the presence of power integrity issues, Power integrity issues affecting system performance more prominent, It Will lead to voltage instability, Electromagnetic interference, System instability and PCB board warpage even blown lines and other issues.By simulation and analysis, It can be as much as possible to find and solve the hidden power integrity problems in PCB design stage, Product design to minimize the probability of failure, Improve the reliability of the circuit operation of the system, Improve the chances of a successful, the development period is shortened and the cost is reduced. This work was based on the theories of high-speed circuit and power basic, Power supply network design for high-speed digital circuits to do a more detailed analysis and research. The main contributions are followed:First, power integrity, describes the composition of the power distribution network system, designed to analyze the impact of power supply wiring impedance, capacitance verified layout reduces PDN impedance method. The use of simulation tools and simulation processes PowerSI example simulation.Secondly, in the PCB design, mainly based on Cadence’s PCB design process, using Allegro PCB design software for high-speed digital circuits, divided into the layout design, being stacked, the wiring design, with emphasis on the wiring design of the power network.Finally, based PCB design Qualcomm MSM8909 chip platform, according to the analysis of simulation results, for power integrity problem of its existence, has made specific place and route optimization program, after modification simulation verify that the design has been able to meet the high-pass power target impedance requirement.
