Research On Children 's Service And Improvement In Community Library

With the development in recent years in our country, the community construction is becoming more and more important, people material standard of living improve, to meet the requirements of the spiritual world is also higher. The community library, emerge as the times require, can supplement for community residents to strengthen the construction of the spirit of the world. Children as a home of hope, the future of the motherland, community libraries should attach importance to children services, to provide the necessary service guidelines for children.This paper first through the relevant literature at home and abroad, analyzed the present research situation of community library services for children from theory, to explore the status and the advantages of foreign community library, mainly to the community library,analyzes the American Japan, was conducted by questionnaire survey, field in two ways,including community libraries in Shenzhen city and Harbin city community library, on the community library for children to borrow, to carry out related activities, organized by the relevant education counseling situation, the use of network and multimedia situation has carried on the questionnaire survey and on-the-spot investigation, the combination of theory and practice, objective analysis of the situation of the community library services for children in China, although there has been some improvement, but still there is a need to progress of the place, aiming at these problems, learn foreign good experiences and puts forward improving measures, including improving librarian’s children’s clothing between the hardware facilities, service levels, improve the community library in special children’s services and the construction of library cooperation network, makes the community library can well develop continuously, can provide better service for children.
