Study On The Urban Morphology Of Guangzhou Financial City In High Density Environment

Since the reform and opening up, it needs more space to live and more resources to consume which is opposite to our national conditions. Due to the construction, our cities are developing to the direction of compact urban spatial pattern and forming the high density urban center.High density environment can save the resource,improve the city production efficiency and activate the city’s vitality. At the same time, because of the high density city’s features:high density population,high capacity building,and the large volume of traffic,it causes the problems such as the dropping of environmental quality,chaotic city layout,and the losing of cit culture features. So it’s important to explicate the method of the urban spatial form design. With taking the starting area of Guangzhou financial city implement plan as the object of study,the article analyses the spatial form of Guangzhou financial city and propose relevant strategies for the sustainable development of high density city.In the first chapter,it explores the importance of the urban spatial form design in high density area from the background and problems.In the second chapter,it states the current situation of the high density urban spatial form,and the case studies at home and abroad to offer the basic theory for the following text. Which stating the relevant conceptual framework, it shows the rationality oft be scheme form analyzing the essential factors of the urban spatial form design, the density of the spatial form and simulating the wind environment of the area using the computer software.In the third chapter,it states the constrution and development background of Guangzhou international financial city and proposes the basic congnition from the proposition of the construction of Guangzhou financial city,the current situation before planning and the basic situation of planning.In the forth chapter,in view of the influence factors of high density urban space and the results of the design desired,it analysises the space features of Guangzhou international financial city from the design goal,the design elements of space form,the elements of form density and the ayalysis of wind environment.In the fifth chapter,on the basis of the summary of the research above about the features of the space form,it proposes four strategies of the space form design of Guangzhou international financial city,inheriting Lingnan culture characteristics,creating a comfortable space environment, building functional composite cities,forging efficient operation city.In the last chapter, it puts some countermesures about the plan implementation focus, development mode, policy recommendations, phased implement, etc.
