Study On Protection And Utilization Of Traditional Residential Building In Ming City Wall In Xi’an City

Traditional residential houses is the precious heritage of all mankind. It has the profound historical value, cultural value, scientific value and artistic value. With the rapid development of economy, traditional residential houses building located in the center of the city is increasingly recession and urgently need to protect and update. By reforming the traditional local-style dwelling houses in xian Ming city wall, the survey found the traditional local-style dwelling houses have not been effective protection, there is a big problem of infrastructure, living environment, etc. Based on this, the paper takes xian Ming walls traditional residence as the research object and explore method of protection and utilization of traditional folk house better promote xi ’an traditional local-style dwelling houses of the implementation of the protection work.By combing the theory and the study of the traditional folk house at home and abroad, draw lessons from the related theory and practice. Xi’an Ming city wall traditional dwellings update planning as practice exploration. Pointed out that the revival of traditional houses within the walls of Xi’an that can be achieved by cultural, economic, and space improvement. Cultural Renaissance mainly lies in protecting high value conservation status of residential, replacing function of general residential reasonably, and striving to protect the status quo of traditional residential living atmosphere; Economic revitalization mainly through optimizing area space layout, and guide blocks industrial upgrading, the introduction of tourist experience activities and lines; Space revitalization mainly through dynamic space, improving the transportation system and rich marking system. In addition, to implement the protection and renovation traditional dwellings of Xi’an Ming city walls effectively, the system of property rights and the establishment of a wide range of participation mechanism must be taken.
