As the experiential consumption is booming in the age of experience economy,the concept of experience economy has already become a brand new economic form.New perception and experience is illustrated in all walks of life.Tourism industry which boasts the strongest characteristics of experience economy,particularly,the scenic spot represented by the traditional sightseeing scenic spot,on the one hand,bounded by limited truism resources,its development mode cannot keep up with the pace of upgrading consumption structure.On the other hand,the demand for tourism market heats up,particularly,during the major holidays,the surge of tourist into scenic spots are soaring.The contradiction between inadequate supply and imbalanced development of tourism attractions is becoming increasingly predominant.Therefore,the traditional sightseeing scenic spot is facing up the transformation from the sightseeing age to the experience age.How to break away from the limted resources,enhance competitiveness,provide a better tourism experience scenario and ambience,in order to be sustainable and competitive,is becoming the key factor to proof weather the scenic area is successfully updated or not.First of all,this paper interprets and analysis the existing problems of traditional scenic spots.And then sums up the bottleneck of its development through field investigation,which is mainly manifested in following five aspects:the outdated theme without attractive landscape and cultural connotation;Extensive development mode with low utilization rate of resources,and the value of experience-orientated resources haven’t exploited effectively;lacking of an all-round experience environment,and still mainly emphasis on visual landscape ambiance;short of integrated and systematic experience projects.Secondly,through the comparative analysis of traditional tourism and experiential tourism,this paper summarizes the connotation and characteristics of experiential tourism,which don’t have high requirement on tourism object,and it is more like a stimulant to motivate the tourism subject to explore and experience.But it requires the scenic spot itself to present diverse substantive connotation,and asking for higher requirements on tourist autonomy,emotional development,as well as the updating tourism six elements.Therefore,traditional scenic spots enhancement has made a new demands in the aspects of theme image,function layout,scenario and ambiance creation and so on.Thirdly,through the definition of tourism landscape planning and design,and the analysis of the connotation and characteristics of the tourism landscape,the thesis has grasps and emphasizes its attributes of integrity,economy,sociality and experience.And points out that the tourism landscape planning and design is different from the general landscape design.Based on the research on the relevant literature of experience-based tourism landscape planning in the domestic and abroad,this paper summarizes the planning and design principles of tourism landscape:ecology and sustainable development principle,theme and extension principle,experience and participation principle,regional and cultural difference principle,integrity and continuity principle,rhythm and pace principle.In order to meet the needs of multilevel,diversified,high cultural taste and smooth tourist experience,this paper proposes creative design thinking:Film-making-imitation Story-telling Design Thinking,and Intelligent Scientific and Technological Design Thinking.Film-making-imitation Story-telling Design Thinking is to direct the scenic spot into a stereoscopic sensory perceptive,appreciative,touchable film.And the space structure is transformed into narrative structure,real time to experience time,and the site design to scenario and ambience design.While intelligent scientific and technological design thinking is to integrate the beauty of science and technology with the beauty of nature,enrich stereoscopic sensory perception experience,and create an immersive and futuristic interactive experience.Then,with the guidance of the creative design thinking,this thesis proposes countermeasures and suggestions for the planning and designing of traditional scenic spots enhancement,which is mainly studied from the following five aspects:culture exploration with new topic,space expansion,experiential scenario planning,interactive experience project increment,and landscape ambience improvement.Last,but not the least,this thesis validates the proposed design methodology and theory through the practices of Planning and Designing of Zhuyang Nine Peaks Scenic Spot Enhancement Project.So as to break the limits which is caused by the information imbalance between the resource management and the travel industry,to rethinking of development planning,and enhance traditional scenic spot attractions and competitiveness.As well as providing a new perspective for the development and planning of traditional scenic spots in the new era of experience economy.
