Screw conveyor is a common continuous bulk material conveying equipment, has been widely used in food, food, chemical, fertilizer, building materials, pesticides, and other industries to transport various granular materials, such as:plastic particles, chemical grain, grain, fertilizer, cement, and so on.Quantitative spiral conveyor is a kind of application form of screw conveyor, in the form of a discontinuous weighing.Mainly used in automatic ingredients and quantitative packaging powder and granular materials, to ensure the accuracy and speed of the material output.At present many enterprises in China still use manual dosing or packaging.On the one hand, the intensity of labor is big, speed is slow, poor economic benefit, some poisonous and harmful materials or dust serious harmful to human body; On the other hand, some old factories are using quantitative spiral conveyor equipment, conveyor speed and low accuracy, transportation has a lot of problems in the process, the production efficiency is low. For manufacturing enterprise, therefore, urgent need of high efficiency, environmental protection, safety, energy saving quantitative spiral conveyor to meet the requirements of the quantitative packaging materials or ingredients production.Based on EDEM discrete element software, the 3 D model by importing different screw conveyor, are the commonly used quantitative spiral form to do simulation and analysis, quantitative analysis of screw speed, pitch, spiral form the influence of such factors. Based on the existing traditional single screw, the double helix, lash, to simulate the helical and spiral form and structure can be intuitive to observe the entire delivery process between particles and particle collision and stress situation between particle and blade. On the premise of guarantee the spiral feeding accuracy, reduce the influence of fluctuating phenomenon, reduce the feeding cycle, improve the transmission efficiency. Both spiral feeding speed and feeding accuracy of two conditions, find out the corresponding quantitative spiral conveyor optimization and innovation points, reasonable optimization of helical structure for quantitative reference for the design of screw conveyor in the process of production.
