Screw feeder is a common continuous bulk material conveying equipment,which has been widely used in various industries.In the actual production process,it can realize frequency conversion speed regulation and accurate control of conveying capacity,so it is mainly used for medium and short distance material conveying.As a special form of screw conveyor,the carbon black screw feeder is used for conveying and accumulating different kinds of carbon black in the upper auxiliary system of internal mixer by the day tank through the screw conveyor.The fast and slow weighing and the last inching are realized by controlling the screw speed through frequency conversion to ensure the weighing accuracy.At present,there are some problems in the actual production of carbon black screw feeder,such as material blocking,screw breaking,difficult to control the conveying accuracy,large conveying error,etc.These problems greatly affect the demand of normal production.For the production enterprises,it is urgent to need efficient,environmental,safe and energy-saving carbon black screw feeder to meet the requirements of quantitative packaging or ingredient production.In this paper,Creo simulate simulation analysis module is used to carry out the finite element analysis of the closed part of the screw feeder,and the influence of different blades on the spindle deflection.Then based on the edem discrete element software,through the introduction of three-dimensional model of screw feeder,simulation and analysis,quantitative analysis of screw speed,material properties and other factors,and verify the simulation conclusion through the screw experiment.Through the dynamic simulation of the conveying process of carbon black screw feeder,the collision between particles and the force between particles and blades can be observed intuitively in the whole simulated conveying process.Through the conclusion of simulation and experiment,we can improve the conveying efficiency of carbon black screw feeder on the premise of ensuring the accuracy of screw feeding,and provide reference for the design optimization of carbon black screw conveyor in actual production.
