The "Wenzhou Village" of Hangzhou City has two special uniqueness. One is that the "Wenzhou Village" is not an urban village, but the only open hybrid community with special historical background that exists in Hangzhou city. The other is that the vegetable market in "Wenzhou Village" is the only existing one identified as an urban public service facility while located inside urban community without direct connection to urban roads. Nevertheless, such special urban space is showing a contradictory image of declining material representation as well as active social intension in city nowadays. In the research of "Wenzhou Village", the author finds a "rule" in such community. Under the guidance of this "rule", the community public space is distributed to the owner in units, while its physical space and social space could directly be re-matched via the coordination of space owners and potential users in order to realize the automatic space resource allocation, making space present a collage image. The special history of "Wenzhou Village" is the background of is "rule", the village market is the cause that making this "rule" ever last, while the vendor is the recreation element to maintain and develop such "rule".Under the background that the city development has shifted from incremental development to stock development, how to make the city achieve the automatic transformation from low efficiency use/user to high ones, to reduce transaction costs and realize the re-distribution of space resource become the core problem of design. Therefore, the "rule" in "Wenzhou Village" has its special practical significance. This paper first describes the public space of "Wenzhou Village" from the perspectives of physical space, history backgrounds and perceptions, and summarizes the main ideas of the "rule" in its evolution. Secondly it demonstrates the reason why the vegetable market could plays a role of inducement continuously, how the venders develop the "rule", the regeneration of vegetable market itself and the agreement of relative interest group via their activities during public space evolution under the conduct of such "rule", and how the public space presents the influence of the "rule" at the aspects of space function, pattern and social relationship. Finally it points out the practical significance of such "rule" in the community of "Wenzhou Village" as well as its enlightenment to urban development.
