The New Dwellings Design Of ChuXiong Yi Nationality Based Lifestyle Changes

The vast population in the countryside flocked to cities to work as the rapid development of urbanization in China, lead to some villages gradually desolated, even disappeared; at the same time, some villages build vast modern "square box" architectures based on the concept of "city beauty", it splits architectural contexts and destroys villages environment and landscape. The rapid development of economy changes the production and lifestyle in rural areas as well as dwellings style. ChuXiong Yi Nationality has distinct regional and ethnic characteristics, under the conditions of lifestyle trends,dwellings design have to meet functional requirements and reflect area and ethnic features, so how to create a good habitat becomes a major issue to architects.This thesis takes ChuXiong Yi Nationality dwellings as main research object, and taking the impact of lifestyle to ChuXiong Yi Nationality Village and dwellings as the main thread to discussion. First,by studying the characteristics of ChuXiong Yi Nationality traditional lifestyles, analyzing the spatial characteristics of village and dwellings under the influence of Yi Nationality traditional lifestyles; Second, by studying the changes of ChuXiong Yi Nationality traditional lifestyles,summarizing the problems in traditional dwellings and new dwellings of villagers themselves-construction; third,With lifestyle changes as a precondition,case analysis of dwellings in different sides like village planning, street spatial, dwellings features, decoration characteristics, sums up the experience and insufficient in this case,giving the strategy of the new dwellings design of ChuXiong Yi Nationality under the lifestyle changes;at last, Using the theory and design method of the study,discusses new dwellings design strategy under the influences of lifestyle through the planning practice of ’AiLao Yi Nationality Villages’ XiSheLu Town Big Village in ChuXiong City, Yunnan Province.According to research the relationship between ChuXiong Yi Nationality villagers’ lifestyle and dwellings, this thesis puts forward the viewpoint that the new dwellings design should combine residencet and production function, meeting the needs of different family conditions,respecting the environment and climatic conditions,inheritance of the Yi Nationality dwellings’characteristics,making dwellings and age can coexist, dwellings can coexist with area and national culture, and finally realize the harmonious human settlements in village.
