With the rapid development of China’s water transportation and shipbuilding industry, the demand for the marine navigation radar is increasing everyday. However, China’s marine market is basically dominated by Europe and the United States as well as Japan. Therefore, it is urgent to develop and produce high performance price ratio and high reliability marine navigation radar to improve the market competitiveness. Breaking the monopoly of foreign manufacturers on the market of marine radar in china.In this thesis, the design and implementation of marine navigation radar control system is mainly carried out. The design scheme of marine navigation radar control system is presented based on the overall design of radar system. Then the network structure of the marine navigation radar control system based on the multicast mechanism is designed. Also, the basic function and control flow of the marine navigation radar control system are analyzed, and the technical index of the control system is worked out. In the design scheme, the marine navigation radar control system is divided into 3 sub units, which are designed and implemented based on embedded technology. The first is the interface control unit, in the design and implementation of the unit to complete the design of the control instructions and the unit interface, interface control software functional requirements analysis, as well as the design and implementation of the interface control software and collection control driver. Then in the design and implementation of radar signal receiving and sending control unit, the design of the unit interface, the control command, the waveform parameters of radar transmitting signal and the time sequence of radar transmitting and receiving are completed. And after analyzing the function requirement of control software, the design and implementation of radar signal transmitting and receiving control software is completed. And Then in the design and implementation of the antenna servo control unit, the design of servo control scheme, unit interface, and control instruction design. And according to control function requirement, the design and implementation of control software are completed.After the completion of above work, the function test of marine navigation radar control system is carried out. The function test includes the function test of each control unit and the function test of the whole machine. The test results show that the basic function of the marine navigation radar control system is normal, and meets the design requirements.
