Design Of The Kindergarten In Zhengzhou Airport Area

With the opening of the Two-child policy, the promotion of family economic condition, we pay more and more attention to preschool education. However, most studies concentrate on infant education theory or local space research. The first kind is focus on telling us we should guide the children according to their nature rather than hammering knowledge into them. Another kind mainly study the influence of the color/furniture/safety and so on. Local space research combines infant education theory in kindergarten overall design is less involved. This design is trying to carry out the social interaction space and the running space in the actual project.Based on the actual kindergarten design and the study of the infant education theory, I summarizes two concerns which most kindergarten lacks:children’s social interaction and running in the nature. At the same time, I fully absorb the characteristic of those outstanding cases around the world including those built in China mainland, using in this kindergarten design combining with the field.Upon completion of preliminary design, I summarize the theories/cases and the design result to this paper. The first chapter is project overview, telling us the field condition and the planning condition. The second chapter is design study, summarize the theories and the outstanding cases. The third chapter is architectural design, including the site design and the function design. The forth chapter is interior design, mainly concentrate on the unit combination. The last chapter is the design results show.
