Design And Research On Space And Environment Of Urban Village Reconstruction Residential Community

Since the beginning of reform and opening up, along with the fast urbanization, urban village phenomenon has become a community wide concern. In recent ten years, the reconstruction of urban village has achieved remarkable results. And because of long term practice of dual system for urban and rural areas in China, with city construction land constantly expand to external, urban village were blooming from 1990 s. Especially in Xi’an city, a large number of urban village without transformation still exist in the city.For example, Xi’an city began a large scale reconstruction of the urban village before and after 2010, and 2012 was the peak of villagers movements. Along with a large number of urban village resettlement area put into use, they exposed a lot of problems. First, because the rise of these urban village reconstruction area residential rent, make the original users move to further village. Therefore, the number of urban village in the city is still rising, at the same time, although villagers gained several sets of housing after transformation, but often there are some sets of idle, not like the high income of single room rental before, this make their life rely on rent income is threatened.From the angle of building space, this paper takes the urban village after transformation as the research object, the scope of study will be set to the high rise of residential areas reconstructed from urban village in Xi’an city, through certain research and general situation summary, the modification of urban village after reconstruction are divided into five categories, sum up space environment and characteristics of each type residential area from the angle of internal and external users. Summarize these residential areas’ common problems after reconstruction, and analysis the cause of these problems. From architectural space use situation, environment situation and internal, external users’ demand for urban village reconstructed residential area, this paper researches on two types of architectural space characteristics and design demand needed for two kinds of people, and puts forward the design strategy for both internal and external users of urban village reconstructed residential area, focuses on living space design strategy for external users before reconstruction, provides superior suggestions for urban village reconstructed area architectural space design in the future; and provides some new ideas for contain the increase of urban village and solving the urban village social problem...
