Modern Urban High-rise Residential External Space Environment Design

Based on the new social economical and cultural background of Chinese cities, this dissertation makes a new research and discussion on the theories and methods to construct the outer space of urban high residential buildings, which is achieved by using the theories of urban architecture, widely combined with the latest theories of other related disciplines. After dissecting the meaning, the systemic characters and the humane values of the outer space of urban high residential building, the author attempts to bring forward his original theories about the strategies and methods of the holistic construction, which are expected to be beneficial to the practices of the outer space of high residential building in China today. This dissertation is made up by the following five parts:Chapter one is the introduction. At first it analyzes the main conflicts and problems that exist in practices and space principals of urban high residential buildings in modern Chinese cities nowadays, combined with analyzing the developing skeletons of relevant foreign theories and practices. Chapter two announces that outer space has a characteristic of a society---space entity via rather systematic discussions on the concept, systematic composition, characteristic and influence factor of outer space of high residential buildings, thus brings us deep , overall knowledge to the intension , essence and characteristic of the outside space of high residential building, turn back the superficial and one-sided understandings fettering us for long.Chapter three reviews the structure and composition elements of outer space of traditional inhabit building and compares the western and eastern development of the outside space of traditional house, tries summarizing the characteristic of the construction tactics of outer space of traditional inhabiting buildings. Using history as a mirror, it enlightens and draws lessons from the meaning of the study on outside space of high residential building of modern cityChapter four carry on the network analysis of each aspect to the outside space of high residential building. At first it analyzes factors that influence shape space engendering and developing at material shape aspect, secondly it carries on essential exposition to behavior psychology ,etc. Contrasting with the ordinary residential building, and in the view of humanity, it also explores tactics and methods to construct outer space from some points of view like the relationships between human and environmental space and the interpersonal social relationships.Chapter five uses former research results as guidance to in the past, to carry on analysis from different aspects to representative urban high residential building outside space instances both at home and abroad, in order to present more ocular references how to construct outer space of modern high residential building nowadays.The epilogue concluding analysis points out the macroscopical direction and realism choice of sustainable developing outer space of high residential buildings in modern China cities.
