The Study On Some Factors Affecting The Comfort Level Of Urban Residential Communities

With the fast development of China's economy and social civilization, people's requirements for the quality of life and living environment are continuously improving. When choosing community and residences, urban residents are paying more and more attention to the comfort level of their residential communities. So the study of the comfort level of urban residential communities has become the focus of attention of the government and scholars at home and abroad.This paper was formed based on the reflection of the above problems and the comprehensive study of relevant books and articles. By using the theoretical studies at home and abroad and the practical experience for reference, the author made a deep analysis on some main factors affecting the comfort level of urban residential communities. The aim of the paper is to get the scientific evaluation criteria of the comfort level of urban residential communities and sum up the research results which have important guiding significance for the planning and design of new eco-city communities in Tianjin. Besides the conclusion, the paper mainly includes the following three parts:In the first part of the paper (include the first and second chapter), the author raised the question and introduced the research background, the writing purpose and its significance, the theoretical basis and the study methods and frameworks. Besides, this section also gave the definition of community and the comfort level of urban residential community, analyzed the development and the status quo of community, and summarized the main factors affecting the comfort level of urban residential communities.In the second part of the paper (include the third, the fourth, and the fifth chapter), the author analyzed and solved the problem. Detailed analyses were made on the three main factors affecting the comfort level of urban residential communities: the population size of the community, the eco-living environment of the community, and the human and psychological environment of the community. On the basis of the theoretical research of the population size of the community, the third chapter made a further study from the perspective of physical and psychological needs and mentioned the proper population size for communities with higher comfort level. In the fourth chapter, the eco-living environment of the community was analyzed from the following six aspects: the green environment, sound environment, water environment, light environment, heat environment, and gas environment. And a conclusion was made on the evaluation criteria of the comfort level of eco-living environment of the community. In the fifth chapter, the author mainly discussed the main factors constituting the human and psychological environment of the community which include the community interaction, community characteristics, and community attachment and summed up the evaluation form of its comfort level.The third part of the paper (include the sixth chapter) is the case study. In this section, the author evaluated the Wanke Crystal City in Tianjin according to the criteria of the comfort level of community summarized in the former chapters and tested the practicability of the research results and its guiding role for the new eco-city in Tianjin.
