At present most of the research about the basic education facilities configuration, mainly concentrated in the field of education, humanistic geography, focus on big city center, community, or rural areas, the research content more from the standard, policy and system to address the concerns of education facilities, layout, etc. However, based on the existing research, on the type, the lack of awareness of the big town, the research content, education and cultural aspects in view of the basic education facilities use less crowd’s satisfaction and demand research. Therefore, this article will from the big cities, this type in xintang town, for example, guided by social needs and practical observation, research xintang town basic education facilities configuration status and the optimization countermeasures.Xingtang Town is the Pearl River Delta region typical "big town". In recent years because of the influx of foreign population, the size of its population had already reached the city scale, but its administrative level is still a small towns, so that the xintang town in policy autonomy, executive power and financial power are limited, and this limitation has created a lot of xintang town education facilities allocation problem. Thus the aim of this study is through field investigation and questionnaire interview, in xintang town infrastructure education status quo, on the basis of in xintang town residents’ satisfaction and demand as the main line, trying to research, the problem about the present situation of basic education facilities configuration through understanding the satisfaction and the demand of residents, residents in the configuration optimization into different wishes, for schools and in view of the migrant population in the majority of this status quo, from the government administrative management, sharing quality resources, school district system, optimal allocation of meet the demand of residents, etc.This article includes four parts, the first part is the basic research, including the first chapter and the second chapter, mainly on the research background, object, objective aspects of overview and the analysis of the education facilities configuration research at home and abroad were reviewed and summarized, summarizes the deficiency, seeking breakthrough point for this article.
