Construction Quality Management Research Of A Residential Building Project

Construction quality management is one of the most important daily management works for a construction company. Construction quality management is involved in all links including decision-making stage, implementation stage and acceptance stage. Construction quality management success or not is directly related to the engineering quality and the survival and development of construction company. Therefore, it is important to analysis the construction process of each link and finding out and improving the influence factors. That would improve construction project quality and company management level. It has a very important significance.The method of PDCA theory has been used in the residential building construction projects according to the features of the residential building construction projects and taking examples from some success construction cases in this paper. The construction quality management of residential building is complex. The detailed operating procedures have been considered from the general requirements, operation system, support system and so on in order to work well in this paper.This paper is based on a residential development project in Anqiu city, Shandong province. Systemic study has been done for construction quantity management process according to the particularity of residential building development project. The planning, management and evaluation are put together in order to find the method of construction quantity management from personnel, materials, equipment, process methods and so on. Detail analysis has been done in planning stage, construction stage and acceptance stage and some quantity control measures have been put forward in order to guarantee the continuity of construction quantity of residential project. Construction quality management objective and quality management contents have been put forward in the planning stage. Detail technical route and operating instructions have been put forward in the construction stage according to the section of engineering works. The effect of project quality management has been taken as a quality evaluation method in the acceptance stage. And measures for quality insurance have been put forward. The practice shows that the construction quality management method has a strong maneuverability and controllability. The engineering quantity has been improved and a better effect has achieved. It has some reference value for similar project quantity managements, building scientific management system and promoting company operation efficiency.
