Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of power system, the safety and reliability of its operation is under increasing threat. Because of the characteristics of pumped storage power station, its function of the power system is paid more attention. The pumped storage station construction in our country is characterized with large scale, complex technology, long construction period. Significantly affected by the site terrain and geological conditions, its design work is quite difficult and complex. The management of the design will largely affect the practical operation of the project. Under the circumstances of unpublished technical specification, unseasonal of industry standards releasing and imperfect design supervision system, the owner’s design management becomes more difficult than before.BIM technology can enhance management efficiency through visual design management, and improve work efficiency through multi-disciplinary collaborative design, so the BIM technology applied in pumped storage project management has broad application prospects, and it will become a hot research that how to design management on the basis of BIM technology in the pumped storage power station project. Standing on the perspective of the owners, this paper summarizes current problems in design management by analyzing the relevant literatures at home and abroad. The case of information communication between owners and design contractor is deeply considered and the game contractual relations of information asymmetry between them is analyzed. Furthermore, on the basis of the essential characteristics of commissioned service contracts, this paper puts forward the’BIM+ contract incentives’design management framework with BIM technology as technical means and contract incentives as management tools. On this basis, further BIM collaborative design management platform and the contract incentive model supported by Game Theory and maximum principle are built.With XY Company as the actual case, according to the above research work, this paper analyzes XY Company’s life-cycle design management and evaluates its effects using AHP evaluation method. The management effectiveness evaluation system are designed with design contractors, interface management, optimization design as index case. The results show that the design management effectiveness significantly improved. It is of great significance to pumped storage power station construction project in improving design contractors’service levels, ensuring the design quality, and enhancing the overall management level. And then, this paper puts forward design management suggestions on performance evaluation and incentive in stages which provide a valuable reference for the owners’design management of the future pumped storage power station project.
