With the depletion of traditional energy, the whole world are facing the crisis of energy reserves. Nuclear power, due to its high efficiency and clean, has received the widespread attention and favor. Now the nuclear power construction projects are more and more, meanwhile the research on it focus on the technology. With the requirements of China’s "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the construction of nuclear power projects will get steadily development in the future. Given such background, the article makes in-depth research on nuclear power projects.Firstly, the paper analyzes and summarizes mainstream domestic and foreign literatures on evaluation system, finding the current project post-evaluation is mostly concentrated in the thermal power and other traditional power construction projects and pays less attention to nuclear power project. Furthermore, in the terms of evaluation index system, the division of evaluation dimensions is oversimplified. And there is too much duplication between the economic evaluation index and project evaluation index. The post-evaluation of environmental impact is not paid enough attention to. Therefore, the paper has an in-depth analysis of nuclear power construction projects based on full life-cycle theory. And nuclear power construction project workflow is classified in detail.Secondly, the paper summarizes the characteristics of nuclear power construction projects, such as the long construction period, the high security level, widespread social impact etc. On this basis, this paper combines the principle of index selection, analyzes the meaning and significance of each index, reduces duplication of indexes and builds a new nuclear power construction project evaluation index system, which includes four first grade indexes, nine second indexes and 29 third indexes. Meanwhile, the paper determines the index weight calculation method and the comprehensive evaluation model. Numerical examples are used to check the post-evaluation system, drawing scientific and reasonable results.Finally, based on the established evaluation system the paper makes the related research of information technology by designing post evaluation indicators database and functional modules. The indicators information system can help reviewers to select the appropriate evaluation system for nuclear power construction projects with the detailed indicators description, which will provide theoretical and practical reference for future projects.
