| Lightlizing automobile technologies prompt greatly the application and developmentof aluminum alloy. The quality of aluminum alloy plate mainly show: rupture andspringback during the robot roller hemming because of the poor formability. AnalysisThe feasibility of the aluminum alloy plate is analyzed through FEA and experiment.This thesis introduces the mechanical properties of the various series of aluminumalloy material and its application in automobile body. We selected6061-T4as thematerial for analysis by studying the theory and technology of robot roller hemming.The influence of material properties on hemming process were analyzed through FEA,which includes maximum yield stress, waves, pressure and springback at finalhemming. The influence of the hemming process parameters (flange angle of theopening panel, radius, final-hemming pressure) on springback was further analyzedthrough RMS (Response surface methodology). Finally, the experimental platform wasset up to verify the feasibility of6061-T4aluminum alloy during the robot rollerhemming. |
